Glotesta is a skills assessment platform designed to test potential candidates' cognitive and technical skills to provide employers with ready-to-interview candidates for various roles z

How does Glotesta work for Recruiters?

Companies can create a corporate account, post jobs with clear criteria and other relevant information about the job. They can also view candidates profile and search of candidates in specific areas with certain level of assessment scores.

How does Glotesta work for Candidates?

Candidates simply create and account, log in and select an assessment based on their level of working experience. Once the student completes the assessment, they get an instant report of their performance.

Can a recruiter outsource its hiring process to Glotesta?

Recruiters have the option to create an account, post their jobs, select candidates based on scores, and contact them for last-round interviews. However, they can also request candidates with higher scores directly or outsource the entire hiring process to us.

Can a recruiter invite candidates to take their in-house assessments?

For the moment, candidates can only take ready-made assessment by Glotesta but in the next version of the application, this functionality would be available.

What should a candidate expect in the assessment?

Generally, candidates should expect numerical, abstract, and logical reasoning cases in cognitive assessments. For the technical assessment, candidates are assessed in most areas of the fields with practical scenarios. The technical assessments evaluate principles, techniques, practical knowledge, speed, computation skills, logical reasoning, decision making skills, and attention to detail.

Can a candidate take various assessment levels?

Yes, a candidate is free to take all available assessments in their field but they cannot take the same assessment level within an interval of less than 90 days.

Does a high assessment score signify a candidate is good?

Yes, higher scores signify a candidate not only has the potential to solve problem, hence excel in a job but also has the experience to hit the ground running.

Does a high assessment score guarantee a job?

A high assessment mark opens doors of interviews with recruiters and you will need to meet other soft skills criteria the recruiters are looking for. But you won't have an interview opportunity if you don't score well in the assessment.

If I retake an assessment, do my previous scores get erased?

No, the system keeps track of all your assessment records and employers can access these to understand your progress.

How does Glotesta ensure candidates don't cheat in the assessment?

Our assessments are taken under a camera-controlled environment powered by AI with a mix of human supervision. The system generates a "cheat" report at the end of each assessment and any attempt from the candidate to cheat would result in the candidate's result being canceled and their profile banned for a period.

Can a candidate apply for a job without an assessment?

No, it is only possible to apply for a job once you have created an account and completed your profile on the platform. The candidate should be able to apply for all jobs if he/she meets the minimum criteria. Most jobs would require the candidate to have an assessment score as well.
